Weird story in US Weekly about John Mayer and Kat Stickler splitting “months ago.” Not only is this old news, but it wasn’t big news to begin with. John Mayer used to be good for gossip but that was a very long time ago, he has made a concerted effort to not attract attention for years. So why float this story? It’s the same thing I said about the “Shaun White is ready to date again” story – there are probably photos of John out with someone else.

As much as I’ve tried to Gossip Genie Ariana Grande and Skyler Gisondo, there’s no signs of life there. Yet. I do think his career is about to skyrocket though, in a Jesse Plemons way.

Not to make fun of the girl who took a risk and put herself out there, but Allison Williams’s outfit at Prada is dire. Shlubby fit and bland colours. I put this on the brand, they provided the options.

These James Bond auditions are feeling like reality TV. Is it weird that the process has been so widely discussed, like why do I need to know they are bringing in 20 people? It’s not Casa Amor.

The Hollywood Reporter ran a story about Cannes, comparing the film festival (which has had a quiet year) and a corporate advertising festival called Cannes Lions. The gist is that Cannes Lions is attracting bigger names and more attention. How dreadful.
