Monica Garcia shared her thoughts after she was brought up by the women during the explosive Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season finale. The looks for the Real Housewives of New York reunion have dropped and Jenna Lyons is…well, see for yourself.

Jen Shah’s prison sentence somehow continues to keep getting shorter and it’s expected she’ll be out ahead of Thanksgiving next year. Lindsay Hubbard opened up about a drunken Dorinda Medley spreading rumours she miscarried before she announced her pregnancy. Our favourite astrological goddess Ally Lewber is seeing ‘a year of transition’ after her ex, James Kennedy, was arrested for domestic violence. And this X user somehow encapsulated with precision and perfection how a lot of us feel about Heather Gay.
Heather Gay is a calculated mean girl, who enjoys placing these ladies in mess and watching it unfold. She is a daughter of Tamra and Gizelle. She is a guttersnipe. I can’t stand her, and I enjoy seeing her called out.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City sees yet another chaotic season finale
Imagine sitting at a table with a bunch of frenemies and having to find the worst text message you’ve ever sent about someone and have them read it out loud to the rest of the group. If you’re not a person who gossips via text, you might be in the clear. But if you’re on a reality TV show, chances are you’ve got a trail of must-be-deleted-upon-my-death messages about your colleagues – and this week, those nasty messages were read aloud on national TV during the season finale of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
While at dinner in Puerto Vallarta, Heather tells the women that in order to truly move on from the fractures in the friend group, they need to be up front and honest about what they’ve said about each other. So she tells everyone to find the nastiest thing they’ve said, pass their phone to the person they said it about to be read aloud, and then “burn it” and move on from it forever.
When fans ask for mess, this is precisely what we’re asking for. Social media users are calling it a real life burn book session, just like the one from Mean Girls. And based on what came out of it, they’re not wrong.
It wasn’t catty though. Mary started off with a message she sent about Heather, saying that Heather never made Mary feel a part of the group, and that rather than ‘be grateful for her blessings’, she let fame get to her head. She’s not wrong. About Bronwyn, Angie wrote that Bronwyn’s ‘business plan’ included marrying a man with one foot in the grave, and wears hot dog outfits to remind us that ‘she sucked her way to the top’.
And one of my favourites, simply for the theatrical read, was Heather’s remarks about Whitney:
“Whitney is a low-life, thirsty piece of sh-t. She sold her soul for fame and recognition, she’s a snake and I should’ve never trusted her. I’ve been so stupid, and loyal carrying her stupid Wildrose products even though I never sold a f-cking one.”
But sh-t really popped off when Lisa read what Whitney wrote about her and her husband, which insinuated they were swingers. This caused Lisa to freak out and throw out to the group that Angie’s husband does ‘circle jerks’, at which point production had to step in because they know Angie will fight on TV – she’s not above it, and I mean that in the best way possible. This leaves the group even more fractured than they were prior to Heather’s little exercise, which, really, means the group is in the perfect place for what is bound to be an action-packed reunion over the next few weeks.
Chaos (and colourism) continues on Real Housewives of New York
Due to how insufferable I find this show, I was weeks behind until a friend reached out seeking my commentary on what had been happening. I dedicated a few hours to catching up, only to realize that the show was still stuck in its bullsh-t purgatory of failing miserably to provide the level of entertainment that the OGs did. And that’s saying a lot.
Besides the lack of entertainment, I think the biggest problem I’m having with this reboot is that the producers went through all the trouble of getting an entirely new cast of ‘diverse’ women, complete with lesbians that have put up with a lot of queerbaiting from Brynn and women from different ethnic and religious backgrounds, only for us to still be dealing with what is, by all measures, very anti-POC behaviour, mostly at the hands of Brynn, a white-passing POC herself.
During the Puerto Rico trip, Ubah has definitely been an asshole. Between complaining about the cleanliness of the beach that was very near and dear to Racquel’s heart and comparing herself to Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bundchen, Ubah is on some bullsh-t. But watching the group dynamics and reactions to the tension begs the question of who we extend grace to.
For example, when Rebecca made the remark about Brynn not having kids, Brynn was clearly triggered by it and let all of her castmates know about how bothered she was, bringing it up time and time again to solicit sympathy. I think anyone who watched the scene could tell that Rebecca wasn’t saying it with malice, it was more of a fact of life, but because it’s a sensitive subject for Brynn, she went – in true Brynn fashion – off the rails.
But when Brynn and Rebecca hashed it out, Brynn was very receptive to her apology and it all seemed like water under the bridge. Yet, amid tensions with Ubah, there doesn’t seem to be any desire for resolution at all. So it leads me to believe that Brynn is allowed to run amok, be aggressive and cause chaos and tension, but if Ubah does the same in reaction to what she’s been through with this group, what she’s triggered by, she gets ganged up on by Erin and Brynn?
Ubah is over the nonsense. She fell asleep at the table FFS. I don’t get the vibe she cares to be on the show anymore at all and would much rather be at home making babies with Oliver. She’s irritated, she’s on edge, and she’s constantly seeing other women be extended grace that she has yet to receive, so she is on a war path – and I can’t say I blame her.
Guy drama is better than girl drama on Southern Charm
This season, Craig seems to be finding himself in all the drama. This week, he met up with JT to address the rumour he started, which was accusing JT of calling Miss Pat, thee Patricia Altschul, a bitch, after refusing to accept the very weird and uncouth cane JT gifted her. While JT may be corny and very cheesy, he’s not the type to dare utter such a curse at one of Charleston’s most elite and respected ladies.
The whole rumour started because of Craig, now dubbed ‘Paige DeSorbo’s ex’ after their recent breakup. If the rumour had come from anyone else, it might just be believable, but with Craig’s history of bending the truth, and in many cases, yanking untruths directly out of his ass, not everyone was biting on this one.
Yet, word still got back to Miss Pat – so JT has essentially been ex-communicated from the group, pushing him to call Craig to hash it out. But in true Craig fashion, he is adamant that JT said it, forcing the producers to let the audience know that the audio was not found. But the maturity JT displayed throughout his conversation with Craig did a lot for his credibility – and reputation, while simultaneously damaging Craig’s.
Later, Craig caught up with Austen at a housewarming party, pitching the idea – sorry, Paige’s idea – that he kick Austen off of their joint podcast over recent tension between them and just do it all solo. While I appreciate Paige’s entrepreneurial mind, I don’t think her advice is a good fit for a group of bros that up until very recently were probably doing keg stands on Monday nights. Instances like this make it easier to see why Craig’s friends grew frustrated and distant amid his relationship with her.
To round it all off, when Venita was semi-drowning at the housewarming, Craig dove into the pool to rescue her without hesitation. This is what makes Craig so polarizing. He’s a prick. He’s a bit of a narcissist. But it does appear that he’s got some good in him. Just not enough to keep Paige around, sadly.
