I’m taking up for the influencers here! You can’t outsource style. You can outsource fashion, but fashion and style are different things. Silicon Valley has been trying to marry tech and fashion forever – how many “Clueless closet” copycats have we seen? How many virtual personal stylists? There’s a ton of them and it seems like nobody cares. An app could never do what Aki and Koichi do.

Do I think The Rock is cursed at the box office? No, but I think audiences don’t trust his taste. He needs to reevaluate his team because his prestige work isn’t really clicking, and neither is his big budget work. He needs to make a big change.
