Tina Fey appeared on New Heights, which is a testament the production team. The Kelce brothers make it look low profile but they are consistently booking the biggest guests (even if you remove the Taylor Swift Effect).
Tina addresses the Timothée Chalamet -is-a-manspreader allegations in a way only she can. And of course this is a chance to bring up some ancient gossip, all the way from 2013 when Amy Poehler and Tina hosted the Golden Globes and told Taylor to “stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son” and when asked about it by Vanity Fair, Taylor said, "There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women." It’s been over a decade so obviously, this is old news and Amy and Taylor presented an award together in 2020. If there are any… lingering feelings or observations about it, I doubt Tina would share them. As she said on Las Culturistas, authenticity is expensive.
No shade to Amelia Gray but the SKIMS marketing department has really fallen off. Its campaigns used to be very on-the-pulse, like scooping up The White Lotus cast and the Mahomes family. But over the last year or so it’s been very drab. And I wonder if it’s connected to the Kardashians relationship with super brand builder Emma Grede, who is a founding partner of SKIMS and co-founder of Good American. She has heavy involvement in both as a C-suite executive. Emma has been diligently promoting her own brand with her book and media appearances, and three months ago US Weekly reported that Khloe and Emma’s working relationship had “fizzled out.” How does that work when you are legally and financially tied to a multi-million-dollar company? It’s not like a situationship you can ghost. Something is amiss here. (Click here to see the post if it's not showing up for you below.)
Keke Palmer and Hot Ones host Sean Evans are bringing chemistry to a podcast. Do you know how hard that is? To flirt in that environment and make it look so smooth?! But they are doing it. We need more flirting in public, thank you Keke, Sean, JLo and Brett.
I really dislike those videos where a plastic surgeon guesses the procedures a celebrity has had done. I think it’s so tacky and why would anyone spend six figures on a doctor who spends their time on Instagram Reels playing Mr. Potato Head. On the flip side, I love a facelift self-reveal like the one Denise Richards did. Rosie O’Donnell has posted her before and after, and in my opinion, this is the ideal result because she still looks like herself. Fresh but not pulled.
