Viola Davis’s dress was magnificent last night at the Globes. I was so curious about it because you could only see it from the chest up but they cut to her every chance they got – because she’s Viola but also because that dress really popped in her shot. One of the few good production decisions that were made last night. Also thought Andra Day looked particularly angelic last night. She’s giving me Marion Cotillard vibes this award season. There are rumours circulating that Amber Heard will not return for the Aquaman sequel although there are even more reports about the rumours being total bullsh-t. Part of the rumours were that if Amber got fired, they’d replace her character with Emilia Clarke, which would be a Game of Thrones reunion but, again, those rumours have been shut down. They originated from some Australian outlet. In my experience, not the most accurate of gossips. (Dlisted)
Have you seen Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar yet? Sarah named it as one of her Top 10 movies of the year and I agree – I loved it so much. And if you’ve seen it, you should know all about “Trish” and who ends up playing her, which was a delight … but even though we know basically all of her backstory, thanks to Barb and Star, I still can’t get enough. Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are living together now which… I thought we already knew that but then I remembered her Architectural Digest shoot last year, although you can still maintain separate homes and just spend all your time together.
