This has nothing to do with Isla Fisher’s look, but the overall vibe of this shoot. Why do the shots look like LinkedIn profile photos?

 

Demi Lovato is throwing it way back with her album promo, all the way to 2021 when she was beefing with a froyo shop, The Big Chill. I went back and found my posts from that time (you can read the posts here and here) and I’m OK with my take. I don’t always feel that way, sometimes I look back and think WTF was I thinking. A lot of things I’ve written haven’t aged well. Demi is looking back at her social media and maybe feeling the same way. She was a bit of a menace on social in the early days of Twitter (this is a compliment– that’s the best part of my job!) but was also working through child-to-adult stardom online. And let’s not forget she gave us “Stay away from her! Get a job!” -  a phrase I use at least twice a week under various circumstances.

 

No catchy sing-along tune for us. 

 

Lisa Kudrow doesn’t quite have a c-nty bob (a c-nty lob, maybe?) but I love her haircut. It also gives me an excuse to write about The Comeback because it’s coming back! Season one aired in 2005, season two aired in 2014 and the final season is expected in 2026. “Final” is the word used in the release but like Variety’s Kate Authur, I rebuke it.

 

They need to make one season every 10 years for infinity. 

 

Lana Del Rey posted a photo from her wedding, this is the top story in my house. I found out through a blood-curdling scream. I didn’t know they were married by Judah Smith, who is Justin Bieber’s close friend and pastor. Very close friend. Interesting crossover.
