Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez are working together on an animated film, which means they actually might not even “work” together until the press junket.

Remember the lip-reading controversy of 2024? Internet sleuths were convinced Selena was talking about Timothée and Kylie but it was a wild guess. I actually think they will probably get along just fine and the Kylie factor is way overblown. I think it would be more fun if they all got along really well. A rearranging of the social groups of this gossip generation would be fun to watch.

Ralph Lauren is very comfortable right now, as a brand. Zero controversy, the vintage polos are super popular across generations, the fashion shows are pulling high-calibre celebrities and it hasn’t fallen into the trap of being aggressively branded with monogram logos or aggressively bland with minimalism. It is one of the last brands with a true figurehead who still drives the aesthetic and hasn’t been picked apart by a conglomeration.

Gisele doesn’t always post on Father’s Day but she did this year -- not including Tom Brady is quite obvious. She’s been famous long enough to know how it would be perceived, particularly considering how much attention their blended family got. I’d bet money that there will be a flattering Tom Brady story in Page Six this week.

The Boroughs has been cancelled by Netflix, which came as a shock to Geena Davis. In the olden days, when a show was cancelled, the network could point to the ratings or the budget. But because streamers are so secretive and don’t use a standard metric (I still don’t know what “minutes watched” means – does that include the auto previews?), there’s no clear reason and it feels unfinished for the fans. I still wonder about The Afterparty on Apple TV.

Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham: “Don’t post about me on social media.”
David and Victoria Beckham: “No.”

And we can ignore the low-tier UK tabloids reporting that Brooklyn is offering an olive branch to his dad through his hot sauce. When the company launched he said it was a homage to his dad’s number at Real Madrid, but this is years-old info.
