Rue and Edward are getting married

For months now we’ve been talking about Zendaya in 2026. Now that 2025 is coming to a close, it was a quiet one for her, at least publicly. Professionally the opposite of quiet, and this is why she was so seldom seen in public – Z has been booked and busy, so f-cking busy, and that work is about to dominate 2026. 

Last week HBO officially confirmed that Euphoria season three will finally premiere in April.

April’s been a good month for Zendaya. Challengers was also an April release in 2024 and I’m sure you remember how much pop culture real estate that movie took up, and right after Dune Part 2, too. Speaking of more Dune, we’ll get there. It’s just that between Euphoria and Dune, there are SO MANY OTHER PROJECTS. 

So, sticking with April, just this morning A24 had an announcement to make. Literally a “save the date”. For a wedding… 

Kristoffer Borgli’s The Drama wrapped principle photography exactly a year ago this week. The film stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson as an engaged couple when a secret about one of them is revealed that threatens their relationship. Not much else is known about the story but I love the way they’re selling it. It’s an engagement announcement, a photo of two attractive people, she’s showing off her big ass rock… and it’s totally giving rom-com except, well, it’s definitely not a rom-com. Which is hilariously setting some people up for disappointment. And the TikTok reactions in a few months from people having a meltdown that they went in thinking one thing and left all traumatised because The Drama – even though it’s literally in the title – is a psychological drama and definitely not a rom-com. 

I know this because for all the crazy marketing that’s been happening, for months now, with Marty Supreme, every day I see a comment somewhere from someone who’s like… wait, this is a movie about ping pong? Lol. 

The point is, Zendaya and Rob look great together. So great that it’s an illusion to whatever mess that’s about to unfold in this movie. 

Anyway, to go back to her future, that’s two highly anticipated projects in April alone. Then, three months later, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey (also featuring Robert Pattinson) and Spider-Man: Brand New Day release within two weeks of each other in July, on the 17th and 31st respectively. Both are expected to be MEGA blockbusters. 

And we’re still not done because after that she still has Dune 3 (again with Robert Pattinson) and Shrek 5, those too are releasing within two weeks of each in December 2026. And, needless to say, MEGA holiday blockbusters. 

Six. Six major projects in nine months! As for Law Roach, that means he’s balancing award season with Ariana Grande, Rosé, and other clients while getting the jump on allllllll the looks Zendaya will be serving next year.
