It’s too bad. Because if you’ve seen Fifty Shades Of Grey, you know he needs more finish. I’ll say it again: more come face, give us more come face! Four or five sex scenes and no climax? How is this allowed?!?

So anyway, about those rumours this week that he’s done with Christian Grey and wants out of the sequels, Dornan’s rep has now released a full statement, denying that he’s trying to get out of the franchise, instead confirming that he wants to keep going for more:

"Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide and whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking forward to making the next film.”

Conveniently he was also papped in London today with his wife, Amelia Warner, seeming relaxed and happy, walking around with that weird gait, looking…actually… kinda hot.

But you get the message. Or he got the message: go out there and shut this down, right now. This sh-t is a mess.

What is it with these Twilight or Twilight-inspired movies and all the drama after killing it at the box office? The movie was huge. The money is big. But instead of celebration, all we’re hearing about is infighting. For two reasons: EL James is difficult and, well, Jamie Dornan was the worst part of the movie.

That’s the issue here, specifically, for this post. It’s a no-win situation for him right now. Because even if he doesn’t want to be a part of it anymore, at this point, he has no choice. As negatively as his performance may have been received, it’s even worse for him if Hollywood thinks he committed to the series, went ahead with the first, sucked at it, and then backed out. Which is not the same as what Charlie Hunnam did. Because we never had a chance to actually attach Charlie to Christian Grey. We don’t know what that looks like (UNFORTUNATELY). Dornan’s impression however is now locked. And running from it only makes him look really, really weak. And hoping that they dump him and not the other way around doesn’t work either. Think about what you’d think if Slum Bear was the one who dumped JLO. How embarrassing that would be. You let an ugly, loser ass backup dancer break up with you?

Jamie Dornan is stuck. Given the circumstances then, his only way out is if the studio and EL James can’t come to an agreement and it all falls apart for everyone. Which means they’d all be leaving money on the table. When does Hollywood ever leave money on the table?
