Taylor Swift is engaged and she’s sucking up the pop culture oxygen right now which, as I already said in my post about the proposal, would be a good opportunity for any celebrities who have anything to reveal and don’t want people to pay attention.

Then there’s Cardi B who is being sued by a security guard for assault and abuse. The alleged incident took place in 2018 when Cardi was pregnant with Kulture and was visiting her OBGYN. The security guard claims that she clocked Cardi when she got out of the elevator and Cardi was startled and worried that the news would get out about her pregnancy. Anyway, details about the case are in the article I just linked to. The point I’m trying to make here is that Cardi is naturally not being low-key about this situation at all – at least not from her outfit. Because she came to court in couture, a very expensive suit that’s giving “courtroom serious” but also “I am and forever and always will be… Cardi B”.

What else happened today…

Taylor Swift’s engagement news is still super fresh but already we have the engagement ring details. I don’t love the ring but I’m also a basic bitch when it comes to jewellery. It does suit her though, and he designed it, which definitely checks another one of her fairy tale romance boxes. (People)

Wait, what’s happening? Julia Fox has been stepping out in not-all-that-outrageous outfits lately. And this one is her must UNoutrageous outfit to date. I thought this was actually Juliette Binoche at first. (Go Fug Yourself)

I disagree with Keegan-Michael Key here: when I think I’m overpacking, I am most definitely overpacking. I don’t unpack, but I do know that I won’t need half the sh-t I’m packing. And then I get mad at myself later on for not leaving enough room. I overpacked for Korea in March, then had to buy a whole other carry-on for all the skincare that I accumulated. Be mindful of this when you go to Asia. The shopping will make you want to throw out everything you own. And it’s affordable. (Celebitchy)

Yesterday I linked to The Ringer’s piece on Naomi Watt’s performance in Mulholland Drive which is #1 on their list of the 101 Best Movie Performances of the 21st Century. The full list is here and my petty ass is in full agreement that Leonardo DiCaprio doesn’t crack the top 10, lol.

The Kpop Demon Hunters soundtrack just made history…AGAIN. (Soompi)
