Karla Welch is a stylist with a very impressive roster, especially at the Emmys. Amazing female clients. But because I’m petty, all I could think when looking at this photo is… Elisabeth Moss and Fred Armisen. And of course this quote, one of the most cutting in celebrity breakups: He’s so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person. Straight ether. It’s been a few years since their breakup and if Karla felt comfortable enough to post this – and hasn’t taken it down – that must mean there’s no drama, right? No one who works closely with celebrities of this calibre would be sloppy about exes.

A reader called Catrina wrote me to ask if we should be talking about Alexander Skarsgard’s possible secret Instagram account (BuzzFeed did a deep dive here). Yes we do need to talk about it because as she pointed out, he posts a lot photos of his friend, Jack McBrayer. He follows a lot of Swedes. He and Alexa Chung do not follow one another. It got me thinking, apropos of nothing, who can we Gossip Genie for Alexander? My pick would be Halle Berry. She likes a handsome man.

Little Lamb God bless thee.

Jack thinks award shows diminish the integrity of our art.

That blanket should be in the Smithsonian one day.

This is one of the more surreal moments of my existence. I grew up on Roseanne, and the blanket on the couch may have been the most reliable constant in my life back then. In 2017 to be producing it is more than my brain can understand. I'm very grateful. Now excuse me while I go pick up the pieces of my exploded brain off the floor. ❤️

If the Emmys want to do better they should put a bodycam on Tituss Burgess. (NSFW language.)

As Lainey mentioned, there was a lot of shimmery silver on the Emmys red carpet. It’s definitely a trend. I love what Kelly Rowland wore to VH1 Hip Hop Honors because it mixes the lightness and minimalism of the dress (which is so 90s) with the structure of a blazer.

Look I know it’s Instagram and people make typos all the time, but serious question: do you think he thinks “Business” should be capitalized like a proper noun?

What happens when actors try to be serious in Buisness meetings. Truth is I have a hard time. My Buisness partner caught me doing this and gave me a "what the fuck look?" Luckily no one else saw. Haha
