Weekend Couples Update

The (possible) celebrity couple gossip that preoccupied us this weekend was Michael B Jordan and RAYE. Last weekend it was Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper in Paris and their Boucheron rings and whether that means they secretly got married. Nothing official but those rings are officially wedding bands…

Bradley is in Paris because he’s working on the new Ocean’s film. Gigi is still there and was photographed spending time with his mother, Gloria, and his daughter Lea (not pictured). No confirmation about the marriage but at this point, after dating for three years, it definitely looks like they’re family.

Right before Gigi and BCoop started dating, she was with Leonardo DiCaprio. She moved on to Bradley and he moved on to Vittoria Ceretti around the same time. So it’s been three years for Leo and Vittoria too, exclusively, but no one is taking any rumours seriously about marriage, LOL. Vittoria just turned 28 years old in June which means she is the record holder for the oldest woman he’s ever dated – congratulations! If they stay together another two years, we’ll be able to say, for the first time ever, that Leonardo DiCaprio has been with a woman in her 30s… while he’s in his 50s.

Leo and Vittoria are currently on holiday with friends, including Laura Harrier and Lukas Haas, in Formentera. It wouldn’t be Leo if he wasn’t on a boat in Europe in the summer.

Taika Waititi and Rita Ora are also in Spain, seen at the beach in Ibiza before Taika starts making the rounds in support of his new film, Klara and the Sun. The film is not screening at the Venice Film Festival but it was just announced today that he’s hosting the amfAR gala there during the festival and he’ll be there as an actor in another film, Place to Be. Klara and the Sun opens on October 23 – Sarah posted about the trailer a few weeks ago. The book by Kazuo Ishiguro devastated me. I am terrified of this film.

Meanwhile Scarlett Johansson is spending the summer in England, working on the new Batman movie. She and Colin Jost were papped in London this weekend. Scarjo also recently showed up on the Good Housekeeping Instagram account, as promotion for her skincare brand The Outset. Apparently Colin uses her products too.

Since it’s Good Housekeeping, she also talked about home sh-t, like how she loves to decorate, and that at her house, there’s a no shoes rule. And that is exactly right. I’m East Asian, shoes at the door is the way of life.

Looks like the reason for this recent round of light promotion is because The Outset and Credo Beauty just launched a partnership today. I always forget that she has a skincare line because she’s not super aggressive (at least not on my feed and in comparison to other celebrity brands) about pushing it. Never used The Outset and don’t know too many people who do but those who have tried it say good things about it.
