I don’t know if I can survive another Derek Blasberg-captioned fashion week. I don’t have the strength.

Versace and Fendi teamed up for the Fendace show (Kim Jones and Silvia Venturini Fendi of Fendi and Donatella and her team swapped archives) and this clever mashup was a big draw of celebrities (Demi Moore, Naomi Campbell, Dua Lipa, Gigi Hadid, Elizabeth Hurley and Kate Moss). Curious if it was a one-off event or if they are going to sell the pieces. Fendi and Versace both have very specific and bold monograms, which taps into the maximalism style that seems to be coming back.

Did you know Charlie Puth and Elton John live four houses away from one another and bubbled together during COVID lockdown? I learned that over the weekend and am very pleased about it.

Lena Dunham has been relatively quiet (considering that for a solid five years, there were weekly headlines about her) and reportedly got married over the weekend. She’s been living in the UK and when a famous American moves there I call it “the London years.” Madonna had her London years, as did Gwyneth Paltrow and Gwen Stefani. Tom Cruise is in his London years right now, as is Ted Lasso.

Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac don’t need a social media moment but they got one anyway with the lingering arm kiss. But since then, I haven’t heard anything about the actual show, Scenes From A Marriage. Are you watching? Is it good?
