Sydney Sweeney is often dogged on TikTok for making up stories about her past (there was a whole investigation about her working at Universal Studios, which ended up being true). Even if she is lying, I love when celebs sprinkle chaotic little untruths into their interviews, like Dakota Johnson and her limes.

In this interview with WSJ, she said she has never had coffee and can function off of two hours of sleep. I believe this because you know who is the same? Lainey!

Brittany Snow is on Call Her Daddy, which is basically Barbara Walters for people who owned one of those wavy mirrors with the pink frame. Alex Cooper gets tons of clickable headlines because it’s not probing, but like listening to friends catch up. I think celebrities go into it unguarded and actually want to dish. Brittany Snow is up next and yes she will talk about her reality TV husband who was married to her while filming a storyline about getting “close” to a coworker – it sounds like Brittany didn’t know that’s what he was doing until she watched the show. Now they are divorced, he will be on a C-tier reality TV show for a while and then hawk teeth whitening strips, while Brittany has pushed her career and was in an Oscar-nominated live action short and had a film at SXSW. (I really liked her yellow Oscars dress.)

I’ve pointed out this media behaviour before because it’s clickbait on steroids and good gossips need to be vigilant: from the NY Post, “Prince Harry named in $30 million sex-trafficking lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs”. Sounds serious! For Harry, it’s not.

Basically the “named” means they were at the same party and took a photo together ages ago. The same thing has happened with Cameron Diaz and many other celebrities and Jeffrey Epstein (which means the REAL list of people who perved out with him is watered down by these fake allegations). Leonardo DiCaprio and the Nickelodeon creep, too. No surprise that people who are exploitive will lie to make themselves seem more powerful and connected than they really are, but it’s pretty unfair to find all these ways to “connect” people to them in a nefarious way. Anyway, here’s Sean’s denials; his house is currently being raided by Homeland Security.

There are sometimes rumours floating around about Jessica Chastain and her husband splitting but I think he’s in this video (I’m not totally sure what he looks like). Jessica is an interesting one because she’s not “private” in that she disappears completely, but her personal life is extremely private. I think she has kids but I don’t really know. And it’s very much the same kind of fame as Kerry Washington – very active on social media, lots of red carpets, lots of fashion, lots of philanthropic work, zero family life. For both, this is by design.

Jack Antonoff reportedly “disconnected the line” when a reporter asked about The Tortured Poets Department which, if true, OK bud. (The reason I say “if true” is because there’s a translation but I can’t verify the source.) It’s insane to see Swifties call the journalist “unprofessional” and “rude” and “disrespectful” for asking this question. This is what happens when celebrities will only deign to be interviewed by other celebrities and fandoms only accept unadulterated praise. And going by the translation, it was just a simple question – it was hardly combative. When you work with one of the biggest artists in the world on a regular basis, it is wild that you would be this defensive about it.
