Chris Pine is dating Annabelle Wallis. I’m fine. It’s fine. Seriously. I’m only delusional about my real-world chances with Michael Bae Jordan. I’m OK with my other celeb crushes seeing other people. I’m mature like that. I mean, I’m still holding out hope for a Chris Pine/ Zoe Kravitz reunion but until then, I have no issues with whatever Chris Pine is doing with Annabelle Wallis.
A couple weeks ago The Best Chris and Annabelle made their debut in public at Heathrow airport on Easter weekend. Lainey noted then that travelling together on a holiday weekend meant something. It definitely meant that Chris and Annabelle were more than friends. Now, I think we can officially start calling her his girlfriend.
There are new photos of the couple at a dinner party in Malibu last week. It was an event for Black Cow Vodka’s Edible Land and Seascapes. The event was described like this:
An intimate four course dinner was hosted by Black Cow founder Paul Archard and English chef Mark Hix. They led a lively discussion surrounding food in the 21st Century, touching on themes such as ocean conservancy, ethical farming and seasonality.
That’s an LA hipster date night if I’ve ever heard one. It was “intimate” and Chris and Annabelle were seated across from each other. According to Us Weekly, they showed up together and left together. There are always photographers at sponsored events like this. Chris and Annabelle would know this. They would know that their business would be out there if they showed up to a vodka event together, making eyes at each other all night. Us Weekly’s eyewitness says that, “Chris and Annabelle hardly separated throughout the evening and couldn’t take their eyes off each other.” Heathrow gave us a clue something was going down but now we know that it’s at least serious enough that they don’t care that everyone knows it’s going down. Chris Pine, unlike another lesser Chris (Martin, Annabelle’s ex), is not the jump-behind-dumpsters, paparazzi-dodging celebrity but he does keep his sh-t tight. We wouldn’t know about this if he didn’t want us to.
US is also reporting the (possibly bullsh-t) details of how Chris and Annabelle got together.
“Chris and Annabelle are dating! She was seeing someone else when they met… They kept it casual for the beginning. Chris was very attentive and wooed her to get her attention away from the other guy.”
I would LOVE if this other guy was Chris Martin but the timeline doesn’t match up. I’m going to focus on the wooing and the attentiveness. Classic Best Chris. Did he call her on his flip phone? *Drake voice*
This source also says that Chris Pine and Annabelle Wallis have already vacationed together in Hawaii and that Annabelle is “totally Chris’ type.” I am Chris Pine’s type in my day dreams but if we’re basing his type off of his last-known longtime girlfriends, Dominique Piek and Íris Björk Jóhannesdóttir, they’re not wrong. Annabelle fits the bill.
The Best Chris has done so much for us lately that he deserves to be happy. If we’re playing Photo Assumption ™, Chris Pine and Annabelle Wallis look very happy.
