Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade were in New York this weekend, they’re Met Gala regulars so it won’t be surprising to see at least one of them at the event tonight – Gabrielle, obviously, since Dwyane might have NBA playoffs business with the Knicks kicking off the Eastern Conference semi-finals at home against the 76ers.

If that’s the case, it’ll be girls’ night for Gabby, and she’s already spent part of the weekend with Lala Anthony and Nia Long at Teyana Taylor’s party on the weekend. All of them are known to travel in Beyoncé circles so it also makes sense that they’d be at Beyoncé’s Met Gala.

As you can see if you flip through that carousel, Gab is in a yellow cheongsam inspired fit, the second we’ve featured on the site today. Hers is a Roberto Cavalli set, archival 2003, and so much better than the way Kim Kardashian wore that Dior. Not that that's a high degree of difficulty for Gabrielle Union, who never misses.

What else happened today…

I appreciate Nina Dobrev’s big swing with the boob coasters, as the Fug Girls call them, and that’s probably the best defence I can make of her outfit this weekend. I think it’s because the boob coasters look like what you pull out of a bra or a bikini when you don’t want the padding – material that’s not meant to be seen, because it’s cheap. (Go Fug Yourself)
