Zendaya stays golden

The premiere for The Odyssey is over, but the press obligations continue right up until the movie hits theaters. Zendaya and Tom Holland are still in New York, continuing to make the press rounds.

Zendaya sported two gold looks, first in high-necked Jitrois…

Then in a gold suit by Zuhair Murad for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

She’s still rocking the pre-Raphaelite hair and natural makeup looks, which remains very winsome and romantic. I especially love the combination of the softer head styling with the armor-like Jitrois dress. Law Roach is truly an image architect, because like an architect, he figured out how to connect all the pieces into a cohesive whole. That Jitrois look is just stunning. I legit cannot wait to see how Zendaya changes gears for Spider-Man for the next couple of weeks, even though the very concept of her schedule makes me exhausted for her.

Tom Holland, meanwhile, is keeping it more casual:

It’s so hot and humid in Chicago the idea of wearing jeans and a jacket right now makes me feel nauseous, but Tom Holland is made of sterner stuff than me. He’s keeping the same schedule as Zendaya, and again, the mere thought of it makes me tired. These young people, how do they keep going?

And it can’t stop, won’t stop, at least for Zendaya. She still has to get through Dune: Part III! At least Robert Pattinson got to sit out The Odyssey press tour, because The Batman: Part II is filming right now, but Zendaya has been go-go-going all year long.

Tom, however, might be done after Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He isn’t confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday, and if he does appear in it, it’s likely to be a cameo to set up the next film. He won’t be front and center for press at the end of the year. Small mercies. At least one of them gets to take a nap.
