Taylor Swift is bride trolling

Taylor Swift is still in New York and continues going outside. Last night she was at Zero Bond, wearing trousers and a belted shirt. Rarely do my tastes align with Taylor, though I admire her commitment as an outfit girl, always putting together outfits where everything matches. Couldn’t be me, I’m way too lazy. This outfit, though, I quite like. I’m sort of not digging the way the bottom of the shirt goes swoopy, but a trousers/button down combo never goes wrong, and even belting the shirt, I don’t mind any of it.

And I love that she’s wearing white again, just outright trolling everyone, wondering if this is it, is she officially in her Bride Era. You know what would be hilarious? If Taylor wore a colorful wedding dress. She won’t do it, of course, you know she’s going to wear a big white ballgown, at least for the ceremony, but it would be the ultimate act of bride trolling to wear a bunch of white before the wedding and then rock a colorful wedding dress.

Everyone is wondering about The Date and The Dress and The Invites, but you know what I want to know about? How bananas is Taylor’s bachelorette party going to be? The bachelorette party industrial complex is absolutely out of control for regular people, to the extent that social media, Reddit, and Youtube are full of stories of friendships ending because of insane, and insanely expensive, demands for full party weekends, or even weeks. Like bachelorettes now require a week off from work.

But that’s for normal people. Taylor Swift isn’t normal, nor are most of her friends. She can actually afford the insane week-long destination party. But will she do it? Sort of like the colorful wedding dress being the cooler option, the far chicer thing to do would be to have a simple, one-night party with your friends in a place where at least most of you already live. Will Taylor surprise us all with a chic night out in NYC, or will she revive Taymerica and have a full-blown bachelorette bash? This is really the only facet of her wedding I am interested in, because this is where I think she is most likely to surprise us.
