Tom Holland and Zendaya are now in London promoting Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Before that it was Paris, just last night, and before that Rome, earlier this week. Normally when Zendaya is on a press tour, her fashion is the dominant headline. On this press tour though… I mean I’ve enjoyed the fashion, the fashion is always, always, always A+++, but the fashion is not what I’m thinking about.

What I’m thinking about is how cute they are, how sweet they are – so cute and so sweet and all of our algorithms have been taken over by their cuteness and sweetness, to the point where the outfits are not the main character! The main character is their happiness. Happiness that, hopefully, we can join in on without being too intrusive, too imposing, too expectant. Our happiness (related to them) should be brief, as brief as this stretch of publicity, so that theirs can be sustained.

Right now, they’re sharing their happiness on social media. Neither Tom or Zendaya is all that active on socials and it’s usually just reserved for business, but their last two posts have felt personal. She said it herself, “Just jumping on to say hi from OUR stop in Rome” (emphasis mine).

The last shot in that carousel is a shot of the two of them as Tom is kissing the side of her head. And he actually gave us two carousels, both from Rome. The first is from the photo call…

The second is from the premiere – and the pictures are gorgeous, they’re gorgeous, gorgeously in love.

So what is it about Rome? A lot of people are talking about their affection for Rome, how they seemed to be extra dialed up there, prompting speculation that, perhaps, Rome has something to do with the engagement or the wedding, adding more fuel to the curiosity about the wedding, period, since they’ve managed to keep every single detail about it private. All we know is that it happened, that they are married – and even that was by their design, with Law Roach casually just confirming it at the Golden Globes, all like, “oh yeah, that? You missed it, haha, and none of you had any idea”.

But can we just go back to the cuteness? All these little moments between them that have been going viral that give us a glimpse into their deep connection? I swooned when I saw this one, and then sent it to Kathleen writing, “This is the sh-t that makes me weepy and horny at the same time”.

And here’s the one that’s been really popping off – the way they call back and forth to each other in a way that’s so familiar and unforced, and of course how he refers to her: by her middle name and not the name that’s the most famous:
