Chrissy Teigen has invested in ChainFEST, a food festival founded by B.J. Novak and various chefs and business partners. The concept is elevating chain-restaurant foods, like Panda Express orange chicken and Pizza Hut. This review was last year was not great and that’s from the Hollywood Reporter. The reviews from festivalgoers online are pretty bad as well. Food festivals are really, really hard to pull off because of long lines, quality issues, and general disorganization. And the festival is already expanding.
Leonardo DiCaprio has never posted something personal on social media – it’s all environmental causes - and a few posts per film. The most he did was for Killers of a Flower Moon and I think a lot of that was specific support for Lily Gladstone. But he dates a generation that is much more comfortable in the online world. So he’s posting about frogs (important, but not getting picked up by US Weekly) and I’ve noticed his bonafides often post about travel. It's a theme.
So to date Leo, you have to be a good travel companion but I wonder what that entails - does Leo get jet lag? Is he an afternoon napper? Does he bring his chef or eat the local cuisine? He probably doesn’t adjust his routine to a new girlfriend because, well, what’s the point. One thing he will do is take the photos.
Have Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keough broken up? I don’t know. It seems like nobody knows. But if it has happened, the movie star breakup is an important part of a young pop star’s life. She will bounce back stronger and more powerful.
Gordon Ramsey was not in the room for the birth of his first four children but was in the room for five and six. (His wife Tana also had a late miscarriage.) She said the delivery room was her choice because Gordon is too squeamish and would faint and she needed all the support. Fair enough, he doesn’t seem like the suffer-in-silence type.
Armie Hammer is getting way too much attention for posting a video about selling his truck. Armie has done the podcasts and is back in LA, so the next step will be to land a role. I don’t know who will hire him but Kevin Spacey is still working, so I guess anything is possible. Maybe the Entourage reboot? That makes me shudder.
Some of us have been watching female fight club for years; it’s called The Dinner Party From Hell. It’s called Scary Island. (Also, the original tweet is fake – there’s no movie in the works and it wasn’t on Deadline.)
It’s called the Real Housewives and it’s been out since 2006. pic.twitter.com/JDvrE4Li6D
